January 21st - Wanaka Challenge, New Zealand. Beautiful and tough race in the land of "Lord of the Rings". With only 3 weeks of systematic training after December time off, I would be OK with top 5 this year.
March 25th – Ironman Melbourne – asian-pacific IM Championships promise strong field on new course!
April 22nd - Ironman South Africa – My favourite course and favourite place! Beautiful ocean swim, windy and rolling bike and fantastic atmosphere on the run!
May 19th – Ironman Lanzarote – I will finally make it to the toughest Ironman course on the circuit. Great place to spend family vacation alongside...
June 3rd Ironman Cairns, Australia – promising new location on Ironman circuit. Last year´s winner Chris McCormack said, it was a great race experience and Great Barrier Reef is right there. Enough of the reasons to be there!
June 17th. Triathlon XL Berlin – independent IM distance race in Berlin, Germany. It will be a perfect family trip to visit their famous tropical hall and the city center as well.
June 23rd – Czech National Long Distance Champs Otrokovice – great and growing IM distance race. Both individuals and teams – come and try the best IM race in Eastern Europe (even as a relay): www.zeleznymuz.cz.
July 1st - Ironman Austria, Klagenfurt – I haven´t raced this Europian classic race for a while. My family loves it around Worthersee and the course seems to get faster and faster every year - time to get back!
July 5th-6th - Bigman World Championships Prague - traditional combination of xterra race and IM distance race in two consecutive days in Prague is a real test for anyone, who seeks more challenge, then just doing an Ironman itself - www.czechbigman.cz.
July 22nd - Ironman UK, Bolton - after winning Challenge UK last year, I am coming back to England for more:-)
July 29th - ITU World Long Distance Championships Vittoria, Spain - after getting 10th last year at the Worlds in Las Vegas, I would love to go at least one better this year!
August 4th - Slovakman Piestany, Slovakia - National IM Distance Champs for both Slovak and Czech republic, I have to be there to defend my undefeated status of last 13 years at all Nationals at this distance!
August 19th - Challenge Vichy - new destination on Challenge series with great references by those, who raced there last year.
September 7th-8th - Beskydska Sedmicka - Czech National Ultramrathon Championships (teams of 2). 90k overnight race over 7 mountains totalling 6000m elevation. First Ultra race for me, can´t wait for the experience!
October 13th - Ironman Hawaii - it will be my 14th straight race on the Big Island as a pro. I will try to improve my PB here (19th place).
