January 16th - Wanaka Challenge, New Zealand. Beautiful and tough race in
the land of "Lord of the Rings". Last year, podium finish was a nice surprise. With only 4 weeks of systematic training, I would be OK with top 5 this year.
March 13th – Abu Dhabi International Triathlon – new format 3-200-20 and high prize money promise tough battle on long ride and fast run!
March 27th – Bratislava City Marathon, Slovakia – training marathon race in the heart of Slovakian capital, will try to break 2:30 mark this time.
May 1st - Ironman Utah – new race on the circuit. Hilly, dry and hot. Should suit my strenghts.
May 9th – Prague International Marathon, Slovakia – training marathon race in the heart of Czech capital, will try to break 2:30 mark again.
May 30th - Ironman Brazil - Last year 3th there. I hope, I am still improving:-)! Great venue, dancing atmosphere, nice and tough course.
June 5th – Melice Half Ironman, Czech republic – training half ironman race. Flat course, forest run, 300+ participants and great atmosphere.
June 26th – Czech National Long Distance Champs Otrokovice – great and growing IM distance race. Both individuals and teams – come and try: www.zeleznymuz.cz.
July 4th-5th - Bigman World Championships Prague - traditional combination of Friday xterra race and Saturday IM distance race in Prague is a real test for anyone, who seeks more challenge, then just doing an Ironman itself - www.czechbigman.cz.
July 25th - Ironman Lake Placid – great and truly course with lot of hills both on bike and run. Favourite race of my wife and son!
August 18th – Challenge Cobenhaven – new full distance race of Challenge series. Staged right in the heart of danish capital, it will be course to remember.
August 29th - Ironman Canada – just have been there once and with 2 punctures finished 16th. Off to improve my Canadien racord booksJ!
September 19th - Ironman 70.3 Cancun – I did my first World Champs in triathlon and duathlon (short course) here 15 years ago. Now I would like to come back with my family to this wonderfull resort.
October 9th - Ironman Hawaii - it will be my 12th straight race on the Big Island as a pro. I will try to improve my PB here (19th place).
November 6th - Ironman Florida – hot, humid, flat to undulating and very fast. Usually gets on of the strongest fields off Kona. Last time I got the 3rd place – going for the podium again!
December 4th - Ironman Western Australia - I always did well there and would like to finish this triathlon season with a good result. And then? Off to cruise family vacation and skiing!!!
